EnPLAFTM and Hair Restoration

One of the most promising uses of EnPLAFTM is in the therapy of hair loss. It is a great option for patients who require a non-surgical therapeutic option to stimulate hair growth. For patients who are undergoing hair restoration surgery, EnPLAFTM therapy can be performed the same day to enhance the effects of surgery. Thus EnPLAFTM therapy can be used as a stand-alone therapy or alongside a hair transplant procedure.

The main purpose of EnPLAFTM is to stimulate inactive or newly implanted hair follicles. The growth factors within EnPLAFTM promote neovascularization (new blood vessels) and stimulate the growth of hair follicles by activating the proliferative phase and transdifferentiation of hair and stem cells and producing new follicular units. Growth factors also promote the in-vitro proliferation of papilla cells, and thereby play a key role in elongating hair shaft. A detailed description of the different growth factors within EnPLAFTM and how they are useful in stimulating cellular growth can he found here (Composition of ENPLAFTM).

EnPLAFTM is injected on the scalp or rubbed on the scalp after performing a derma roller procedure in the areas which suffer from hair loss. People who have thinning hair, and those with androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness - hair loss at the top of the scalp and a receding hairline particularly along the temples), women with male pattern alopecia can all benefit from it.

The therapy for hair loss typically requires multiple sittings, few weeks apart for best results as directed by your doctor or aesthetician. However, NeoKine can prepare multiple EnPLAFTM injections from a single blood draw, then store them for future use. The additional EnPLAFTM injections will be properly labeled and stored in appropriate conditions by our staff until the patient is ready for subsequent injections.
